Position Overview:OmniaCare is seeking a full-time Scheduler to support our growing Home Health and Hospice teams. This role is essential to our daily operations, focusing on coordinating and assigning clinicians to patient visits within our EMR system, Homecare Homebase (HCHB).
The ideal candidate is highly organized, detail-oriented, and thrives in a fast-paced environment. You’ll play a key role in ensuring timely, efficient patient care by managing schedules and supporting clinical staff behind the scenes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Coordinate and assign clinicians for home health and hospice patient visits
- Manage daily schedules using Homecare Homebase (HCHB)
- Communicate effectively with clinicians, intake, and leadership teams
- Adjust schedules in real-time based on patient needs and staff availability
- Ensure visits are assigned accurately and in a timely manner
- Support overall workflow to maintain efficient patient care delivery
- Assist with additional tasks and responsibilities as needed to support the Intake team
Qualifications:
- Previous scheduling experience in healthcare preferred (home health or hospice a plus)
- Experience with Homecare Homebase (HCHB) preferred, or ability to quickly learn new EMR systems
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
- Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities
- Proficient in computer systems and EMRs
Compensation & Benefits:
- Starting wage:$20.00 per hour, with a performance review at 90 days
