Job Overview
User-Friendly Garage Door is seeking an organized, customer-focused Scheduler to coordinate installation and service appointments, communicate with customers, support office operations, and keep projects moving efficiently. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, thrives in a fast-paced environment, and provides exceptional customer service.
Responsibilities
- Answer incoming customer calls and provide appointment updates.
- Schedule and confirm installation and service appointments.
- Reschedule jobs due to backorders or incomplete installations.
- Coordinate schedules with installers, warehouse staff, and manufacturers.
- Contact manufacturers for order, delivery, and warranty updates.
- Process customer payments, deposits, and outstanding balances.
- Update customer accounts, invoices, and job notes.
- Prepare installation paperwork and warehouse pull sheets.
- Maintain accurate records and perform general administrative duties.
- Assist with Invoices data entry, filing, and office support as needed.
Qualifications
- Previous scheduling, dispatching, customer service, or administrative experience preferred.
- Excellent communication, organization, and multitasking skills.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office; QuickBooks experience is a plus.
- Strong attention to detail and professional phone etiquette.
