ABOUT THE ROLE
We are seeking a polished, warm, and digitally savvy individual to serve as the first point of contact at our luxury hair salon. This dual-function role combines classic front-desk hospitality with creative social media management — making it a unique opportunity for someone who is both people-oriented and content-driven.

CORE RECEPTIONIST RESPONSIBILITIES
● Warmly greet and check in all clients, ensuring a seamless and elevated arrival experience, offer complimentary beverages upon arrival ● Manage all appointment scheduling, confirmations, cancellations, and waitlists using salon software● Answer incoming calls, texts, and emails promptly and professionally● Process client payments, retail transactions, and end-of-day balancing● Maintain the front-of-house appearance to consistently reflect our luxury standards● Coordinate stylist schedules and communicate client preferences or special requests● Build lasting relationships with clients through genuine, personalized service● Manage retail product displays, inventory counts, and restocking in the reception area● Handle client concerns or complaints with grace, escalating as appropriate .
SOCIAL MEDIA RESPONSIBILITIES
Candidates with demonstrated content creation skills will take on expanded social media duties and receive additional compensation (see pay structure below).
● Create and post high-quality content across Instagram, TikTok, Facebook ● Capture before/after transformations, behind-the-scenes moments, and client spotlights (with consent)● Maintain a consistent posting cadence — minimum 4–5 posts per week across platforms● Write compelling captions that reflect our brand voice: sophisticated, warm, and aspirational● Engage with comments, DMs, and tagged posts in a timely and on-brand manner● Research trending audio, hashtags, and beauty content to keep our feed relevant● Collaborate with stylists to ideate content concepts and seasonal campaigns
QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS
Required:
● High school diploma or equivalent● 1+ year of customer service, receptionist, or hospitality experience preferred ● Impeccable verbal and written communication skills● Eager to learn or Proficient with scheduling software, POS systems, and Google Suite● Warm, professional demeanor with a genuine love of people● Reliable, punctual, and detail-oriented
Preferred (Social Media Add-On):
● Active personal or professional social media presence● Experience with Canva, CapCut, Adobe Express, or similar tools● Understanding of Instagram Reels and TikTok short-form video trends● Basic photography skills; comfort filming in-salon content● Prior social media management experience is a strong plus
