Job Summary

We are seeking a detail-oriented Sales Assistant to directly support our sales team and the company owner. In this role, you will own the "sales takeaway" process—translating initial client consultations into actionable next steps. Your primary focus will be managing post-meeting action items, executing client follow-ups, and keeping project details impeccably organized.

Key Responsibilities

  • Sales Takeaway & Scoping: Take raw meeting notes from the owner or sales team to draft initial project scopes and task lists.
  • Client Follow-Ups: Execute timely follow-up emails, text messages, and phone calls to keep prospective clients engaged.
  • Estimate Prep Support: Gather material choices, measurements, and subcontractor notes to help build accurate pricing proposals.
  • CRM & Pipeline Management: Update and maintain client profiles, project statuses, and communication history in our system.
  • Sample & Showroom Coordination: Coordinate the drop-off or pickup of cabinet, countertop, and hardware samples for client review.
  • Appointment Scheduling: Manage calendars for the owner and sales team, confirming in-home consultations and design reviews.

Requirements

  • Experience: 1–2 years of experience in administrative support, customer service, or sales assistance (experience in construction or design is a plus).
  • Skills: Outstanding written and verbal communication skills with a polished, friendly phone demeanor.
  • Organization: Exceptional attention to detail; you naturally love checklists, calendar alerts, and keeping systems organized.
  • Tech-Savvy: Proficiency with email platforms, spreadsheet tools, and standard CRM software.

Career Growth (Path to Commission): We want to reward performance. Once you can independently manage the CRM pipeline, maintain a 24-hour turnaround on project scopes, and master our estimating process, you will be eligible for a higher base pay scale or a commission-based structure tied to the projects you help close. Pay: $19.00 – $24.00 per hour
