We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Data Entry Clerk to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for accurately inputting, updating, and maintaining data within our databases and ERP systems. This role requires strong computer skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently. The Data Entry Clerk will play a crucial role in supporting our administrative functions and ensuring that data integrity is upheld across various platforms.
Responsibilities
- Enter and update data in databases and ERP systems with precision and accuracy.
- Perform data entry tasks including typing, transcription, and order entry.
- Collect, organize, and file documents to maintain an efficient office environment.
- Utilize Microsoft Excel for data management, including the use of pivot tables for analysis.
- Assist with clerical duties such as filing, data collection, and administrative support as needed.
- Ensure that all data is entered in a timely manner while adhering to company policies regarding confidentiality and security.
- Collaborate with team members to improve data entry processes and enhance overall efficiency.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in data entry or clerical roles with a strong emphasis on accuracy.
- Proficient in using databases, ERP systems, and Microsoft Excel; familiarity with pivot tables is preferred.
- Excellent typing skills with a focus on speed and accuracy.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Basic math skills for handling numerical data effectively.
- Previous office experience is highly desirable; administrative experience is a plus.
