Repossessions Coordinator
Itasca, IL
$29-$32/hour
Hours: 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM
We’re seeking a Repossessions Coordinator to support a busy commercial collections team managing delinquent transportation and equipment accounts. This role is phone‑heavy and ideal for someone confident, organized, and comfortable working high‑volume accounts.
What You’ll Do
- Manage 100–130 active accounts that are 180+ days past due
- Make 25–50 outbound calls per day to commercial customers
- Communicate and coordinate with repossession agents
- Track repossession progress using internal portals and notes
- Handle disputes, payment plans, and customer negotiations
- Maintain detailed account documentation and follow‑ups
What You Bring
- 2+ years of commercial collections experience (industry flexible)
- Strong phone presence and negotiation skills
- Ability to multitask in a fast‑paced environment
- Organized, proactive, and able to think on your feet
- Comfortable working with spreadsheets and account tracking
