Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and dynamic Recreational Therapist specializing as a Yoga Instructor and/or Music Art Instructor to enrich our wellness programs. The ideal candidate will possess a passion for holistic health, creative expression, and therapeutic recreation, with expertise in designing engaging activities that promote physical, emotional, and social well-being. As a key member of our team, you will develop and lead innovative classes that foster community connection, personal growth, and overall health improvement.
Job Duties/Responsibilities
- Facilitate evidence based activity therapy groups for behavioral health patients
- Conduct assessments for newly admitted patients
- Timely and accurate documentation of all therapeutic interventions for patients
- Planning and facilitating seasonal and special events for patients
- Clerical and administrative tasks regarding patient medical records
Requirements
Minimum bachelor’s degree in Music Therapy, Therapeutic Recreation, or master’s degree in Art Therapy. Must be certified by profession’s credentialing board (either art, music, recreational therapy). Previous healthcare experience in one of the above disciplines preferred.
Pay: $23.44 – $28.23 per hour
