The Reproductive Medicine Associates of New York, a leading fertility treatment practice, is seeking a Recovery Room Assistant for our growing Eastside office, with the flexibility to float to our Brooklyn office as needed.
Responsibilities:
Monitoring patient flow
Escorting patients for procedures
Preparing recovery rooms between patients
Maintaining infection control standards
Responding to inquiries from multi-disciplinary medical staff
Assisting OR staff with autoclave and patient transfers
Requirements:
High School Diploma required
One year of related experience preferred
Prior Recovery Room/ OR/surgical experience a plus
Nursing Assistant, HHA, or Medical Assistant Certification a plus
Availability to work Saturdays and Sundays
Compensation and
Schedule:
Pay: $18 to $20 per hour
Part-time, 20-28 hours per week
Skills:
Ability to multi-task
Excellent communication skills
Strong computer skills
Understanding of infection control practices
