Receptionist/Vet Assistant- Vet Clinic Jobs in Hartford at The Animal Drs.
Animal Drs of Hartford, a locally owned veterinary clinic located in Hartford, WI, is seeking a dedicated and compassionate individual to join our team as a receptionist/veterinary assistant. This position can be part-time or full-time, depending on the candidate’s availability and qualifications. **Responsibilities:**
– Greet clients and their furry companions with a warm and friendly demeanor
– Answer phone calls and schedule appointments with efficiency and accuracy
– Perform basic triage and gather necessary information from clients
– Assist veterinarian by preparing for appointments, holding animals during procedures and appointments, and assisting with check-out
– Maintain a clean and organized working area, including cleaning cages and kennels when needed
– Process payments and manage client invoicing
– Provide assistance with radiography, surgical prep and procedures, and pet monitoring pre and post procedures.
**Requirements:**
– Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
– Ability to multitask and work in a steady-paced environment
– Strong organizational and time management abilities
– Comfortable handling and restraining pets
– Previous experience in a receptionist or customer service role is preferred
– Knowledge of veterinary medicine or experience working in a veterinary clinic is a plus
**Compensation and Benefits:**
– Competitive hourly rate ranging from $17.00-18.00, based on qualifications and experience
