Role Description
Harmonica Medical Center is seeking a full‑time Receptionist / Patient Coordinator for our Ajman branch.
The successful candidate will be responsible for creating a welcoming and professional experience for patients while ensuring smooth front desk operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Greet patients and visitors in a professional and friendly manner.
- Manage patient check‑in and check‑out processes.
- Answer and direct incoming phone calls and respond to patient inquiries.
- Schedule, confirm, and coordinate appointments.
- Coordinate patient flow between reception and clinical teams.
- Collect, verify, and update patient information and records.
- Maintain accurate documentation and patient files.
- Perform clerical duties including filing, scanning, and document organization.
- Assist patients with billing and insurance related inquiries.
- Provide information regarding clinic services and procedures.
- Escalate patient concerns or issues to the appropriate department when required.
Qualifications
- University degree or equivalent qualification.
- Fluent in Arabic and English, with strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Minimum 1 year of experience as a Receptionist, Patient Coordinator, or in a similar customer service role.
- Previous experience in a medical center, clinic, or healthcare environment is preferred.
- Strong customer service and communication skills.
- Strong organizational and administrative skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, email, and appointment scheduling systems.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive patient information.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast‑paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Knowledge of medical terminology and insurance processes is an advantage.
