We are currently accepting resumes for an Optometric Technician.
As an integral part of our eye care practice, you will support our optometrists in delivering high quality patient care. Your role will involve conducting pre-examination tests, maintain patient records, and ensuring our equipment is in top condition.
Ideal candidates will have a strong understanding of optometry practices and excellent interpersonal skills. Experience in a similar role is preferred, but we are also open to enthusiastic individuals looking to grow in this field. OPTOMETRIC TECHNICIANS DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
- Meet patients and assist with their care and eye problems
- Take and update patients’ medical history
- Perform necessary eye examinations and tests on visual capabilitites
- Prepare exam room and sterilize equipment
- Use and maintain ophthalmic equipment
- Answer patient questions and explain the testing process
- Schedule patient exams
- Monitor inventory and stock exam rooms
Hours: Mon. 7am to 6pm, Tues – Fri. 7am to 5pm, Sat. 7am to Noon.
You will have one day off during week and one Sat off per month.
