Role Description The Receptionist is a full-time, on-site role based in Indianapolis, IN. This team member serves as the first point of contact for visitors and callers, greeting guests, answering and directing phone calls, and responding to general inquiries with professionalism and warmth. Daily responsibilities include managing the front desk, handling incoming and outgoing mail, supporting basic clerical tasks such as filing, data entry, and copying, and coordinating with other team members to ensure smooth office operations. The Receptionist will also assist with scheduling appointments, maintaining a tidy reception area, and providing courteous customer service to walk-in clients and vendors. This role supports the company’s commitment to excellent service by creating a welcoming, organized, and efficient front-office experience.

Qualifications

  • Strong customer-facing skills, including Customer Service and Communication, with the ability to interact professionally with a wide range of visitors and clients.
  • Front desk and office operations capabilities, including Receptionist Duties and Clerical Skills, to manage scheduling, documentation, and general administrative support.
  • Professional Phone Etiquette and comfort handling multi-line phone systems, message-taking, and call routing.
  • Basic computer proficiency (e.g., email, calendars, office software) and the ability to learn internal systems quickly.
  • Strong attention to detail, reliability, and time management skills in a fast-paced, customer-focused environment.
  • Ability to work on-site full time, collaborate with a small team, and maintain confidentiality when handling sensitive information.
  • Previous receptionist, front desk, or administrative experience preferred; high school diploma or equivalent required.
