Role Description In this role, you will be the first point of contact for patients, greeting visitors, managing check-in and check-out procedures,You will schedule and confirm appointments, update and maintain patient records, and coordinate with clinical staff to support daily operations. Additional responsibilities include handling payments, managing the reception area, processing basic clerical tasks such as filing and data entry, and ensuring all communication reflects the clinic’s standards of courtesy and confidentiality. This role requires consistent professionalism, accurate documentation, and a strong focus on patient service and privacy.

Qualifications

  • Strong customer service and communication skills, with the ability to interact professionally and empathetically with diverse patients and team members.
  • Proficiency in receptionist duties such as greeting visitors, managing appointments, and coordinating front desk operations.
  • Solid phone etiquette and clerical skills, including handling calls, messages, filing, and basic data entry with attention to detail.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks, prioritize workload, and maintain organization in a fast-paced clinic environment.
  • Comfort using computers, scheduling software, and basic office applications; prior experience with healthcare or clinic systems is an advantage.
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; additional training in office administration, healthcare administration, or related areas is beneficial.
  • Dependable, punctual, and able to maintain patient confidentiality and comply with clinic policies and procedures.
  • Previous experience as a receptionist or in a customer-facing role in healthcare, hospitality, or service-oriented environments is preferred.
