The Team
The Receptionist is the first point of contact for clients, visitors, and employees, and plays a key role in creating a professional and welcoming experience for the firm. This role is responsible for front‑desk operations, administrative support, and ensuring the smooth day‑to‑day functioning of the office reception area.
How You Will Contribute
- Greet and welcome clients, candidates, and visitors in a professional and courteous manner
- Serve coffee, tea, and refreshments to clients and guests
- Manage incoming calls, emails, and general enquiries, directing them appropriately
- Maintain visitor logs, issue visitor passes, and coordinate meeting room access
- Ensure reception and common areas are presentable at all times
- Manage meeting room bookings and support meeting logistics (e.g. refreshments, basic setup)
- Handle incoming and outgoing mail, courier services, and deliveries
- Provide general administrative support to consulting and corporate teams as required
- Maintain office stationery and pantry supplies; liaise with vendors as needed
- Support office policies and health & safety procedures
- Assist with onboarding logistics for new joiners (e.g. access passes, desk setup coordination)
- Coordinate with building management and service providers for front‑office matters
Qualifications
- Professional and friendly communication skills
- Strong phone and email etiquette
- Welcoming and assisting clients and visitors
- Good organizational and multitasking abilities
- Ability to manage meeting room bookings
- Administrative support skills (filing, scanning, data entry, courier handling)
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Teams)
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and professionalism
- Attention to detail and good time management
- Presentable appearance and positive attitude
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Prior receptionist or front desk experience preferred, especially in a professional services or consulting environment
- Fluency in English; additional languages are an advantage
