We are looking for a detail-oriented Receptionist to join our team on short term contract. The ideal candidate will serve as the first point of contact for visitors and callers, ensuring a positive and welcoming experience. This position requires excellent communication skills and the ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced retail environment. The assignment will be the following dates 5/1, 5/8, 5/15, 5/22, 5/29, 6/5, 6/12.
Responsibilities:
• Greet and assist visitors in a courteous and attentive manner.
• Answer and manage a multi-line phone system, ensuring calls are directed appropriately.
• Handle inbound calls and provide accurate information or transfer to the correct department.
• Maintain a clean and organized reception area to uphold a positive image.
• Coordinate with internal staff to ensure seamless communication and scheduling.
• Manage and distribute incoming mail and packages as needed.
• Provide general administrative support, such as data entry and scheduling.
• Monitor and address inquiries received through phone or in-person promptly.
• Previous experience as a receptionist or in a similar customer-facing role.
• Proficiency in managing multi-line phone systems or switchboards.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively.
• Familiarity with basic administrative tasks and office equipment.
• Detail-oriented approach and excellent interpersonal skills.
• Availability to work part-time hours as required.
• High school diploma or equivalent education.
