Part-Time Receptionist
Gladesville Veterinary Hospital (Primary), with shifts across Parramatta Veterinary Hospital & Ryde Veterinary Clinic
We are seeking a friendly, organised, and reliable Part-Time Receptionist to join our veterinary team, primarily based at Gladesville Veterinary Hospital, with occasional shifts at our Parramatta and Ryde clinics.
This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment, loves animals, and has excellent customer service skills.
About the Role
As the first point of contact for our clients and their pets, you will play a key role in ensuring a welcoming and efficient front-of-house experience. Your responsibilities will include:

Greeting clients and their pets with warmth and professionalism

Managing appointments, phone calls, and emails

Handling payments and maintaining accurate records

Supporting veterinarians and nurses with administrative tasks

Maintaining a clean and organised reception area
About You
We’re looking for someone who:

Has previous reception or customer service experience (veterinary experience highly regarded but not essential)

Demonstrates excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Is confident using computer systems and booking software

Can multitask and stay calm under pressure

Has a genuine love for animals and empathy for pet owners

Is flexible to work across multiple clinic locations when required
