Park Aerospace is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Production Planner to support our manufacturing operations. This role is responsible for planning and scheduling production activities, coordinating material requirements, managing inventory levels, and ensuring customer delivery commitments are achieved.

What You’ll Do

  • Develop and maintain production schedules to meet customer delivery commitments.
  • Plan and coordinate material requirements, inventory needs, and manufacturing priorities.
  • Work closely with Purchasing, Engineering, Production, and Customer Service to ensure schedules and resources align with business needs.
  • Monitor inventory levels and issue requisitions for raw materials, special materials, and subcontracted services.
  • Adjust schedules as needed to accommodate changes in customer demand, material availability, and production capacity.
  • Review drawings, specifications, and work orders to support accurate planning and execution.
  • Prepare production schedules, shipping forecasts, and planning reports.
  • Coordinate testing, packaging, and shipping requirements to ensure timely order completion.
  • Maintain accurate planning records, inventory data, and system transactions.
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives and assist with inventory control activities.

What You’ll Bring

  • Associate degree in Industrial Management, Engineering, Supply Chain, Business, or a related field, or equivalent experience in production planning, purchasing, or inventory control.
  • Experience in a manufacturing environment.
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, specifications, and manufacturing documents.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Word, and other business applications.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively across multiple departments.

Preferred Qualifications

  • 2–5 years of experience in production planning, scheduling, purchasing, or inventory control.
  • Experience with Oracle ERP or similar manufacturing systems.
  • Aerospace, composites, or fabrication manufacturing experience.
  • Experience managing multiple projects, priorities, and deadlines.
  • Knowledge of inventory management and material planning processes.
