Production Assistant (IMO / Signs)
POSITION SUMMARY
As the Administrative Assistant / Signs, you will be focusing on the production of IMO signs (Signs that identify escape routes, fire control plans and emergency equipment on maritime vessels). These signs comply with strict International Maritime Organization regulations, which promotes the safety and security of international shipping vessels.
You will be expected to act as the point of contact among executives, employees, clients and other external partners ensuring that action plans, projects and daily activities are correctly implemented and followed-up on time according to management’s directions.
Job Responsibilities
- Manages the production of IMO signs (print, cut, and design)
- Handles incoming customers’ requests
- Handles quotations and orders
- Pick, Pack, and Quality Control regulation signage for US Coast Guard and Solas Requirements
- Undertakes data entry, as well as the specification into the order management system
- Drive faster decision-making and feedback by creating, communicating, and executing efficient approval processes and workflows.
- Identify and lead key initiatives to improve associate engagement, internal communications, and influence other department and company-wide focus areas
- Load and unload large commercial printers, cutters, and stencil maker
- Any other duties that might be required from time to time.
Minimum Qualifications
- 2+ years of proven administrative support experience
- Ability to Lift 75 lbs. (Mandatory)
- Impeccable accuracy and attention to detail in formatting, writing and proofreading.
- Experienced with Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel (Preferred), MS Teams (Preferred), Flexi (Preferred), Vinyl Master (Preferred)
- Proficiency in time and project management; able to handle multiple priorities with speed and accuracy.
- Ability to Read / Learn Fire and Safety Plans (Preferred)
- Ability to prioritize and work with, and for, diverse customers with varying leadership styles and requirements.
