Schedule: Tuesday – Saturday, 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM PST
Position Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented Correspondence Processor to support a healthcare organization in a fully remote capacity. This role is responsible for generating and processing member and provider correspondence, selecting appropriate letter templates, and conducting minor grammar and quality checks to ensure accuracy and compliance.
The Correspondence Processor is a non-clinical position requiring strong attention to detail, adaptability, and the ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Generate member and provider correspondence using approved templates
- Select the appropriate letter template based on established guidelines
- Review letters for grammar, spelling, formatting, and accuracy
- Process and monitor correspondence through the designated letter database
- Maintain compliance with Utilization Management (UM) policies and procedures
- Ensure timely and accurate completion of assigned work
- Manage multiple priorities while maintaining quality standards
- Adapt to changing business needs and processes
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED required
- 1–2 years of professional experience
- Basic grammar and proofreading skills
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a production-based environment
- Ability to quickly learn new systems and processes
- Strong written communication skills
- Ability to work independently in a remote setting
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience in healthcare, medical office, or managed care environments
- Experience processing correspondence or working with document management systems
- Knowledge of healthcare administration processes
