Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Physical Therapy tech/Medical Assistant to join our chiropractic team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in supporting patient care with assisting in passive therapy, daily progress notes, scheduling necessary x-rays/MRIs. This position involves assisting chiropractors in providing high-quality therapy services, ensuring patient comfort, and maintaining efficient operations.
Responsibilities
- Assist in patient examinations by preparing the examination room and ensuring necessary equipment is ready for use.
- Assist with patient care (daily physical therapies and exercises).
- Be able to handle high volume of daily SOAP notes for each patient.
- Scheduling X-rays/MRI appointments with medical facilities.
- Provide medical administrative support, including scheduling appointments, managing patient records, and handling insurance documentation.
- Deliver exceptional patient service by addressing inquiries and providing information regarding treatment plans.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the clinical environment in compliance with health regulations.
- Collaborate effectively with healthcare providers to enhance patient outcomes and streamline operations.
Qualifications
- Be able to speak fluent English and Spanish with patients.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
- Excellent communication skills to foster positive interactions with patients and team members.
- Familiarity with medical systems and administrative processes is desirable.
- A compassionate demeanor with a commitment to providing high-quality patient care.
- High School diploma.

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $12.00 – $25.00 per hour
