Responsibilities
- Greet and assist patients upon arrival
- Manage patient scheduling and appointment confirmations
- Handle medical records and documentation with accuracy
- Process insurance verifications and patient billing inquiries
- Maintain a clean and organized front desk area
- Answer multi-line phone systems with professionalism
- Collaborate with healthcare staff to ensure seamless patient care
- Uphold HIPAA regulations to protect patient confidentiality
- Qualifications
- Proven experience in a medical front desk or receptionist role
- Strong understanding of EMR systems and medical terminology
- Familiarity with insurance verification processes
- Excellent communication skills and phone etiquette
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Bilingual candidates are preferred but not required
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and typing skills
