Dee-O-Gee is looking for an exceptional full time receptionist to join our grooming team here in Bozeman!
A successful receptionist possesses the qualities of being a self-starter, able to thrive in a fast-paced multitasking environment, be the front-facing individual for the grooming department, passionate about animals, and eager to provide grooming and customer support as needed.

Your Experience:
1) You have experience working in a fast paced work setting.
2) You have customer service experience
3) You have experience answering, calling and utilizing phones within a professional environment
4) You have experience and/or comfort handling animals.
5) You have experience multitasking within a work environment
As a Grooming Receptionist your responsibilities would include:
1) Providing exceptional customer service to clients who come to the grooming salon
2) Answering phone calls with a professional, thoughtful manner and tone
3) Scheduling grooming appointments
4) Able to manage voicemails, return calls, and maintain administrative organization
5) Prioritizing responsibilities and objectives for the grooming salon each day
6) Maintaining organization amongst the grooming department
7) Creating grooming tickets that accurately reflect appropriate charges
8) Managing multiple calendars, scheduling systems, and software programs
9) Managing medical documents to ensure animals are up to date on vaccines
10) Contacting upcoming clients to remind them of upcoming appointments
11) Handling and accepting pets on behalf of groomers
12) Able to easily work with a multitude of personality types
13) Working in a fast paced, supportive environment
14) Clearly communicating expectations and necessary information to client; verbally and in writing
15) Assisting groomers as needed for supportive tasks within the salon
16) Starting and folding laundry as necessary throughout the day
17) Able to potentially bathe an animal as needed, depending on availability and comfort-level
18) Being a self-starter with cleaning, organizing and ensuring cleanliness of grooming desk and surrounding areas
19) Completing daily tasks and chores on the checklists provided.
20) Maintaining a clean and orderly work environment.
21) Attending staff meetings and staff social events
Physical Requirements:
Able to lift up to 50lbs
Able to sit for long periods of time (6hrs)
Must be able to bend, kneel, squat, and crouch frequently
Able to work around pets
