Insurance Customer Service Agent
Independent Insurance Center is seeking a highly motivated and experienced candidate for the position of Personal Lines Customer Service Representative (CSR). This person will provide customer support to existing clients for a personal lines book of business. Because relationships are everything in this industry, we emphasize developing a good rapport with our clients to provide outstanding customer service.
Responsibilities:
Quoting and Consultation:
- Quote insurance policies with multiple companies to find the best coverage options for clients.
- Consult with clients to understand their insurance needs and provide personalized coverage recommendations.
- Educate clients about insurance products and answer any questions or concerns they may have.
Policy Processing:
- Process insurance policies and policy changes accurately and efficiently.
- Maintain detailed records of client interactions and policy transactions.
- Follow up with clients to ensure satisfaction and address any issues or concerns.
Administrative Tasks:
- Maintain follow-up and suspense files on outstanding orders and correspondence.
- Assist with administrative tasks such as filing, data entry, and document preparation.
- Keep up-to-date with industry trends and changes in insurance regulations.
Requirements:
- Active Virginia Property and Casualty (P&C) license is a must.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in the insurance industry.
- Experience with AMS360 or similar insurance management software is preferred.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
