Responsibilities
- Manage a caseload of personal injury claims, including initial client intake, case evaluation, and ongoing case development
- Coordinate with attorneys to gather necessary documentation and updates
- Utilize systems to manage files
- Perform detailed document review and proofreading to ensure accuracy
- Maintain organized files through meticulous data entry, filing, and record-keeping practices while adhering to confidentiality protocols
- Assist in project management tasks
- Support administrative functions including scheduling appointments, managing phone etiquette, and providing executive administrative support when needed
Skills
- Extensive knowledge of personal injury law combined with familiarity in related fields such as workers’ compensation law,
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple cases simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail
- Strong interviewing skills for client intake and witness statements that gather accurate information efficiently
- Effective communication skills for clear writing of reports, legal drafts, correspondence, and proofreading documents
- Ability to handle data entry accurately within various document management systems; familiarity with transcription and clerical experience preferred
- Knowledge of legal procedures related to contracts, filing systems, research methodologies, litigation processes and document management systems
- Superior phone etiquette combined with professional demeanor in client interactions and team collaboration
- Project management capabilities that enable timely completion of tasks in a fast-paced environment

Pay: $60,000.00 – $90,000.00 per year
