Excelforce is hiring an experienced Payroll & Time Specialist to support clients using UKG Ready with payroll, timekeeping, and workforce management needs.

The Role

We are seeking a payroll professional who enjoys solving client problems, managing multiple priorities, and building strong client relationships. Experience with UKG Ready is highly preferred, but candidates with strong payroll, timekeeping, HRIS, or client support experience using other payroll and workforce management systems are encouraged to apply.

This is not an entry-level role. We are looking for someone who understands payroll operations, can troubleshoot issues independently, and takes ownership of client accounts. Experience limited to payroll approvals, viewing reports, employee self-service usage, or supporting payroll indirectly is not sufficient for this role.

Responsibilities

  • Assist assigned clients with processing their payroll
  • Assist clients with payroll, timekeeping, and workforce management questions
  • Troubleshoot payroll and timekeeping issues
  • Review payroll data for accuracy and identify discrepancies
  • Support accruals, timecards, payroll corrections, and employee data updates
  • Communicate clearly with clients and internal teams
  • Manage assigned accounts and follow issues through resolution
  • Provide a high level of customer service and support

What We’re Looking For

  • 2+ years of payroll, timekeeping, HRIS, or workforce management experience
  • Experience processing payroll and resolving payroll-related issues
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy
  • Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
  • Professional communication skills and client-facing experience
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines
  • Experience supporting multiple clients or business units is preferred
  • Experience with UKG Ready, UKG Pro, Workforce Central, Dimensions, ADP, Paylocity, Paychex, Workday, or similar systems is preferred

Preferred Experience

  • Payroll provider, HRIS support, HCM support, payroll service bureau, or client support environment
  • UKG Ready payroll and timekeeping experience
  • Multi-state payroll experience
  • Timekeeping, accruals, payroll audits, and payroll corrections

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $70,000.00 – $85,000.00 per year
