We’re seeking an experienced Payroll Clerk to join our administrative team and manage payroll functions with precision and efficiency.
Position Overview:
The ideal candidate will have extensive experience with ADP Workforce Now, advanced Excel skills, and a proven track record in managing weekly payroll, and commission-based pay for over 100 employees. As a key member of the HR/Finance team, you will ensure accurate and timely payroll processing while maintaining compliance with federal, state and local regulations, managing payroll records and handling employee inquiries.

- Process biweekly payroll for all employees
- Administer end-to-end payroll process for a multi-location organization using ADP Workforce Now.
- Verify timecards, commission reports, bonus calculations, deductions and adjustments
- Maintain and update payroll records and employee files
- Prepare and submit payroll reports to management
- Ensure compliance with all payroll tax and labor laws
- Respond to employee payroll inquiries in a timely and professional manner
- Assist with benefits administration and other accounting/payroll/HR-related tasks as needed
Qualifications:
- 2+ years of payroll experience required (multi-location or healthcare/dental experience a plus)
- Strong knowledge of payroll systems (e.g., ADP, Paychex, QuickBooks, etc.)
- Understanding of payroll taxes, deductions, and compliance requirements
- Excellent accuracy, organization, and communication skills
- Proficient in Excel and general accounting principles
- High level of integrity and confidentiality
Schedule:
- Full-time
- Monday-Friday
Pay: $22.00 – $26.00 per hour
