Title: Patient Registrar
Location: New York, NY, 10065
Shift: 8:30 AM-5:00 PM
Duration: 13-Weeks Contract
Pay Range: $20 to $23 per hour
Job Description:
Register patients accurately and efficiently, verifying insurance and personal information.
Manage incoming calls, address patient inquiries, and handle phone messages professionally.
Collaborate with clinical staff to ensure seamless patient flow and data accuracy.
Maintain confidentiality of patient records and adhere to HIPAA regulations.
Support administrative tasks such as scheduling appointments, data entry, and document management.
Required Skills:
High school diploma or GED required.
Minimum of 3 years of clerical experience, with proficiency in data entry (4500 keystrokes per hour).
Knowledge of health insurance benefits, medical coding (ICD-9, CPT-4), and experience with insurance verification, eligibility, and prior authorizations preferred.
Bilingual in Spanish
