Position: 🖥 📋 Lab Patient Registration 📋 🖥
Location: 1st floor of the Jane Wheatley Medical Building
Schedule: Full time days- Days
ER Registration every 5th weekend.
What You’ll Do
◉ Obtains and enters patient information into the computer system accurately
◉ Request the appropriate identification cards (i.e. insurance cards) and paperwork required through the interview process
◉ Obtains provider orders electronically or from the patient.
◉ Communicates effectively with patients, families, and other team members.
◉ Follows HIPAA compliance.
◉ Ensures all patients have a diagnosis
◉ Manages completion of consent forms for patient financial responsibility and consent of treatment.
What We’re Looking For
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- No experience required
- On the job training essential
- Job Demands——
- Strong Communication Skills
- Ability to remain calm
- Maintain accurate and concise documentation
- Ability to operate a computer for data entry
