Bright Eyes Needham is a modern, family-focused optometry practice dedicated to providing exceptional eye care in a welcoming and friendly environment. We are looking for a reliable, energetic, and highly organized Patient Care Coordinator to join our team part-time.

This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working with people, thrives in a fast-paced environment, and can confidently juggle multiple tasks while maintaining excellent customer service.

What You’ll Do

  • Greet patients and create a positive first impression
  • Answer phones and respond to patient inquiries
  • Schedule appointments and manage the daily schedule
  • Verify insurance benefits and explain coverage to patients
  • Collect payments and assist with patient check-in/check-out
  • Help with appointment confirmations and reminders
  • Assist with day-to-day office operations and administrative tasks
  • Support a smooth and efficient patient experience from start to finish
  • Receive training to perform basic patient testing, including taking preliminary eye measurements and imaging as part of the patient visit

Qualifications

  • Prior front desk, medical office, or administrative experience is required
  • Experience with insurance verification is a plus
  • High school diploma or equivalent required

Compensation

  • $22–$25 per hour, depending on experience

Schedule

  • Part-time
  • Approximately 25 hours per week, Monday/Tuesday required
  • Some flexibility available for the right candidate
