Position Overview

The Patient Care Coordinator (PCC) plays a vital role in delivering an exceptional patient experience while driving practice growth. This individual serves as a key liaison between patients, surgeons, clinical staff, and surgery centers. The ideal candidate is personable, highly organized, sales-driven, and dedicated to patient satisfaction. Success in this role requires strong interpersonal skills, attention to detail, and the ability to clearly communicate complex medical information to non-medical clients. The PCC must be comfortable guiding patients through consultations, discussing procedures, and confidently supporting them in their decision-making process.

Key Responsibilities

  • Promptly respond to patient calls, emails, and inquiries, building strong rapport and trust
  • Drive sales by converting leads into scheduled consultations and procedures
  • Confidently present pricing, discuss treatment options, and ask for patient commitment
  • Conduct thorough and informative consultations to understand patient goals and set realistic expectations
  • Maintain consistent follow-up with prospective patients to encourage engagement and future bookings
  • Perform daily administrative tasks, including patient outreach, scheduling, and communication via phone, email, and text
  • Efficiently schedule surgeries while coordinating with physicians, staff, and surgery centers
  • Accurately use quoting systems and ensure pricing transparency
  • Address patient concerns with empathy and professionalism
  • Ensure high levels of patient satisfaction by maintaining ongoing communication and support
  • Assist patients in making informed, confident decisions regarding procedures
  • Complete general clerical duties such as filing, faxing, and managing documentation

Qualifications & Experience

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in a plastic surgery or cosmetic practice preferred
  • Proven track record in sales and patient conversion
  • Strong ability to schedule and coordinate cosmetic surgical procedures
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills across diverse patient demographics
  • Highly professional demeanor with strong customer service skills
  • Exceptional organizational and multitasking abilities in a fast-paced environment
  • Willingness to work flexible hours as needed to accommodate patients
