Part Time Office Assistant Jobs in Glendale at Stories Illuminated
AV and events business looking for part time temporary Office Assistant to support general facilities and operational tasks. Flexible schedule starting at approximately 18 hours per week. This position pays $18.00 per hour. Office is located in Glendale, all work must be completed in person.
Responsibilities:
- Organize and tidy kitchen and employee snack and beverage areas
- Assist with organizing and stowing tools and supplies
- Keep restrooms stocked and tidy
- Take office inventory and make recommendations for supplies orders
- Support with research for office initiatives such as specifying furniture, supplies, or organizational systems
- Assist with operational special projects such as tshirt printing, office events, merch orders, etc
- Carry out facilities special projects as directed such as small repairs or improvements, building or moving furniture, office plant and insect maintenance, disposal of odd items such as recycling or pallets, etc
- Support the team in maintaining shared office resources such as printers, office music, AC levels, etc
- Make runs and pickups for the office as needed
- Assist with any additional office related tasks as directed
Qualifications:
- 1-2+ years of experience supporting office operations, preferably for a company in the creative or entertainment space
- Skilled with Google Suite including professional email and chat communications
- Computer skills including research, typing, searching for businesses and vendors
- Telephone skills including ability to call and request quotes or information
- Organized and able to maintain a clean and professional office space
- Able to take direction and carry out work to the specification of others
- Proactive and efficient, able to create and maintain routines without much direction
- Able to lift up to 60 lbs
Pay: $18.00 per hour
