Position: Paralegal – Family Law
Location: Vancouver
Salary: $65,000 to $95,000
We are seeking an experienced Family Law Paralegal on behalf of a prestigious downtown Vancouver law firm. The successful candidate will provide comprehensive support to the family law team.
Responsibilities:
– Collaborate with clients and opposing counsel on document collection and review
– Draft routine correspondence
– Prepare pleadings, including financial statements, affidavits, notices of application, and lists of documents
– Review and prepare transcript summaries
– Assist with trial preparations
Qualifications:
– 5+ years of family law litigation experience
– Post-secondary LAA and/or paralegal program completion or equivalent experience
– Knowledge of BC Supreme Court Rules and Family Law Act
– Proficiency in Adobe, MS Word, Excel, Outlook, and Divorce Mate
– Exceptional time management, organizational, and communication skills
– Ability to work under pressure and meet multiple deadlines
