Overview
We are seeking an ophthalmic technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills and a passion for helping others! Will train the right person.
Responsibilities:
- Answering phones and scheduling appointments in a courteous and professional manner
- Performing general office work including data entry and maintaining patient records
- Assisting patients with frame selection and providing guidance on eyewear choices
- Pretesting patients and preparing them for examinations
- Communicating effectively and English and ideally Spanish to serve our diverse patient population
​Qualifications:
- Previous experience in customer service and in a healthcare or optometry setting is a plus
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to prioritize and multitask
- Positive and professional demeanor
- Reliable and punctual
