A private ophthalmology clinic seeking a receptionist and/or ophthalmic technician.
– Limited Japanese proficiency (speaking) is helpful.
– Receptionist’s tasks include checking in/out patients, scheduling patients, collecting co-pays, answering phone calls, checking patient’s insurance information, and performing some testing.
– Ophthalmic technician will prepare patients prior to seeing a doctor. Tasks include vision testing, history taking, and taking pictures using ophthalmic equipment. After 1.5-2 years of on the job training and self-study, assistance is available to obtain certified ophthalmic assistant certificate.
– No medical background or experience necessary, customer service experience is helpful.
– Needs to be proficient in computer use.
Work hours Mon, Tue, Thu, Fri, from 7:30am to 4:00pm (no weekends or holidays)
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $18.00 – $20.00 per hour
