What You’ll Do
Front Desk / Administrative Duties:
- Assist with patient check-in and check-out
- Schedule appointments and follow-ups
- Answer phone calls and route messages appropriately
- Help with basic filing and other office tasks
Clinical / Technician Duties:
- Greet patients and bring them to exam rooms
- Measure and record basic eye exam data in the electronic medical record (EMR) – we will show you how!
- Prepare patients and equipment for exams, diagnostic testing, and in-office procedures
- Maintain exam rooms: clean, restock supplies, and ensure equipment is functioning
- Help with patient education: explain pre- and post-procedure instructions in a friendly, clear way
Who You Are
- Enthusiastic and eager to learn new, hands-on skills
- Comfortable floating between clinical and front desk responsibilities
- Reliable, punctual, and detail-oriented
- Professional, friendly, and compassionate with patients of all ages
- Able to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- High school diploma or equivalent required; any healthcare or customer service background (e.g., CNA, medical receptionist, medical assistant) is a plus—but not required
