What You’ll Do

Front Desk / Administrative Duties:

  • Assist with patient check-in and check-out
  • Schedule appointments and follow-ups
  • Answer phone calls and route messages appropriately
  • Help with basic filing and other office tasks

Clinical / Technician Duties:

  • Greet patients and bring them to exam rooms
  • Measure and record basic eye exam data in the electronic medical record (EMR) – we will show you how!
  • Prepare patients and equipment for exams, diagnostic testing, and in-office procedures
  • Maintain exam rooms: clean, restock supplies, and ensure equipment is functioning
  • Help with patient education: explain pre- and post-procedure instructions in a friendly, clear way

  • Enthusiastic and eager to learn new, hands-on skills
  • Comfortable floating between clinical and front desk responsibilities
  • Reliable, punctual, and detail-oriented
  • Professional, friendly, and compassionate with patients of all ages
  • Able to multitask in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; any healthcare or customer service background (e.g., CNA, medical receptionist, medical assistant) is a plus—but not required
