Position Summary:

The Operations Support Specialist plays a critical role in supporting daily manufacturing and operational activities by maintaining organization, communication, scheduling, and workflow coordination throughout the facility. This position is primarily office-based but also provides occasional hands-on operational and production support as needed.

This role requires a highly organized, dependable, and proactive individual who can manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment while maintaining accuracy, professionalism, and operational awareness. We are looking for someone who is open to learning new tasks, adapting to changing operational needs, and contributing wherever support is needed. The Operations Support Specialist serves as a key support resource for leadership and production teams to help ensure efficient day-to-day operations.

Key Responsibilities:

· Maintain and update production schedules, work orders, and operational documentation within our CRM and related systems.

· Input released sales orders, track down missing information, and coordinate scheduling updates to support production flow.

· Assist with inventory tracking, material usage reporting, and maintaining operational supply levels including shipping materials and facility consumables.

· Maintain organized and accurate physical and digital records and documentation systems.

· Support coordination and communication between production, inventory, shipping, and leadership teams to ensure smooth daily operations.

· Monitor and communicate operational concerns, scheduling conflicts, workflow disruptions, safety issues, or facility needs to management.

· Assist with opening and closing procedures of the facility

· Support facility organization, operational readiness, and continuous improvement initiatives.

· Provide occasional hands-on support to production, packaging, shipping, or shop-floor operations during high-demand periods or staffing shortages.

· Maintain professional communication and follow all company policies, operational procedures, and safety expectations.

Work Hours:

· Standard work hours are Monday-Friday from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, though hours may vary.

· Punctuality is crucial; employees must arrive on time and adhere to scheduled breaks.

· Overtime may be required based on workload and operational needs.

Qualifications:

· College degree, equivalent certification, or completion of a trade school program required.

· 2+ years of administrative, operations support, manufacturing, or related experience preferred.

· Strong organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail.

· Ability to prioritize multiple tasks and adapt in a fast-paced environment.

· Strong written and verbal communication skills.

· Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook).

· Experience with ERP systems, or production scheduling software preferred.

· Ability to understand and communicate effectively in English.

· Must be able to pass a drug test and background check.

Physical Requirements:

· Must be able to occasionally lift, push, pull, and move up to 30 pounds.

· Ability to stand, walk, bend, stoop, and move throughout office and production environments as needed.

· Ability to occasionally assist in manufacturing, packaging, shipping, or warehouse areas.

· Exposure to varying environmental conditions including noise, dust, temperature changes, and warehouse activity.

· Required to wear appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) when entering designated production or warehouse areas.

Experience:

· Experience in manufacturing, operations support, scheduling, logistics, or administrative coordination preferred.

· Experience working in fast-paced operational or production environments is a plus.

Pay: $22.00 – $26.00 per hour
