This position is based in our downtown Dallas or Fort Worth office and offers a hybrid schedule (3 days in-office; 2 days remote) after an initial onboarding period.

Duties

and Responsibilities

Coordinate with local teams to audit and manage account setup and commission splits in our Business Management System.

Assist the COO and Director of Operations with licensing-related and carrier contract issues.

Coordinate and manage appointments with carriers.

Perform Broker Operation Standards audits to ensure compliance with laws and best practices.

Process and maintain insurance licenses for agents and the organization across multiple states.

Track licensing renewals, continuing education requirements, and deadlines to prevent lapses.

Submit applications, renewals, and background information through state insurance departments and regulatory portals.

Maintain accurate licensing records in internal databases and compliance systems.

Assist the M&A team with licensing and carrier contract transitions for new acquisitions.

Qualifications

Previous experience in insurance licensing, compliance, or related administrative roles preferred.

Proficiency in licensing databases and portals (e.g., NIPR, Sircon).

Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.

Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines efficiently.

Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Excel, Teams).

Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
