Bauer Design Build is seeking a highly organized, dependable, and people-oriented professional to serve as our Office Manager & Executive Assistant. This role is the first impression of our company and a critical force behind keeping our office operations running smoothly.

This position blends front desk leadership, office coordination, and executive-level administrative support. Approximately
75% of the role focuses on office management and front desk responsibilities, with 25% dedicated to direct support of our President.

This role is ideal for someone who enjoys being the organizational hub, thrives in a fast-paced construction environment, and takes pride in creating a professional, welcoming experience for everyone who walks through the door; from subcontractors in work boots to executive partners in board meetings.

What You’ll Do Office Management & Front Desk Leadership

  • Serve as the first point of contact for visitors, clients, subcontractors, and vendors
  • Maintain a professional, organized, and welcoming office environment
  • Oversee cleanliness and organization of common areas, kitchen, and conference rooms
  • Manage phones, general inboxes, mail, and package delivery
  • Coordinate office vendors and service providers
  • Provide ongoing administrative and logistical support to office and field employees
  • Assist with internal meetings, events, and company initiatives
  • Act as a central communication hub between field and office teams

Executive Assistant Support (President)

  • Manage calendar scheduling and meeting coordination
  • Prepare meeting materials and assist with follow‑ups
  • Handle confidential and sensitive information with discretion and professionalism
  • Assist with travel planning and expense tracking as needed
  • Serve as a trusted gatekeeper and administrative partner

What We’re Looking For

  • 3–5+ years of experience in office management, administrative support, or executive assistance
  • Strong organizational skills with excellent follow-through and attention to detail
  • Professional, clear communication—written and verbal
  • Ability to stay calm, flexible, and proactive in a fast-paced, team‑oriented environment
  • Experience in construction or professional services is preferred (but not required)
