Salary: $60,000 – $80,000 depending on experience and qualifications

Summary

The Office Manager and Administrative Assistant to the Principal is responsible for directing and coordinating office services.

Qualifications

High School Diploma or GED, required

Bachelor’s or Associate’s Degree, preferred

Minimum of 3 years of relevant work experience supporting executive-level staff in a professional or school setting

Essential Functions

Office Manager

Coordinate and oversee all office services and staff scheduling.

Manage all-school operations staffing, including mail room, copy center, switchboard.

Coordinate hiring, orientation, and evaluation of administrative staff.

Develop and modify office procedures; supervise administrative assistants.

Organize professional development opportunities for administrative staff.

Manage office equipment and supplies, and assist department chairs when needed.

Collaborate with vendors, stakeholders, and community on projects.

Administrative Assistant to the Principal

Assist the Principal with calls, visitors, mail, and scheduling.

Handle confidential matters, organize data, and support school projects.

Manage communication channels including newsletters, websites, and stakeholder engagement.

Support financial tasks such as budget monitoring and reconciliation.

Skills and Abilities

Effective communication, technical proficiency with Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, Skyward, Infinite Campus, Blackboard, and problem-solving skills are essential.

Physical and Mental Demands

Regularly sit, stand, walk, type, communicate, handle objects, and occasionally lift up to 25 pounds.

Maintain composure under stress; work with multiple priorities and deadlines.

Working Conditions

Office environment with moderate noise; occasional irregular or extended hours.

Safety

Adhere to safety policies, report hazards, and contribute to a safe work environment.
