Working knowledge of effective customer service and problem resolution techniques.
Working knowledge of Microsoft Office products.
Excellent oral and written communication skills.
Excellent time management and organizational skills.
Demonstrated ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
Demonstrated ability to work as a part of a team and work with minimal supervision.
Demonstrated ability to perform detailed work with numerical data, and to make mathematical calculations rapidly and accurately.
Demonstrated ability to manage files, schedules and clerical systems.
Demonstrated ability to independently draft correspondence and manage complex calendars.
Some experience working with financial statements and budgets.
Working knowledge of University and state policies and procedures (travel, leave, and payroll).
Some experience with Banner.
Some experience in student services in higher education preferred.
Employee will work up to 30 hours a week providing assistance to the office.
