We are currently seeking an office assistant to join our team
Recruiting an office assistant to help with clerical duties in our El Dorado Ivan Smith Furniture store. Five-day work week schedule includes Saturdays. High School Diploma or equivalent combination of experience and education required. Some customer service experience preferred. Must be detailed oriented and comfortable using various computer programs and providing customer service over the telephone and in person. Good organization and communication skills also required. Minimum pay is $14 per hour plus incentives.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Contact customers by telephone to arrange delivery appointments
- Confirm customer information including address and special directions
- Verify or correct Route-View
- Insure proper delivery trucks are assigned and have room for the delivery
- Handle payments
- Process cancellations as necessary
- Communicate delivery appointments to central delivery
- Reschedule appointments as needed
- Contact customers after delivery to confirm customer satisfaction
- Perform other duties as assigned
