Position Overview

Reside Property Management is seeking a high-energy, customer-service-first Office & Leasing Assistant to join our premier third-party management firm. This role serves as the essential first point of contact for our 1,000+ unit portfolio, which includes modern multi-family new construction and single-family homes. You will be the "voice" of the office, managing high-volume inquiries and supporting the leasing lifecycle with a focus on hospitality and professional service.

Key Responsibilities

1. The "First Impression" (Reception & Inquiries)

  • Phone & Walk-in Management: Manage a high volume of incoming calls and inquiries with a professional, "phone-first" mentality.
  • Prospect Education: Answer basic inquiries regarding lease terms and current availability with a focus on selling prospects on our properties.
  • Call Direction: Efficiently route current tenant calls and maintenance concerns to the Assistant Manager to ensure timely resolution.

2. Lead Conversion & Sales (Leasing)

  • Active Lead Engagement: Conduct diligent daily follow-ups on all incoming leads and previous property showings to maximize the sales funnel.
  • Prospect Property Matching: Consult with prospects to identify their needs and match them with the best available units across the portfolio.
  • Application Assistance: Help streamline the application process by assisting prospects with required documentation and income verification.

3. Administrative & Clerical Support

  • General Operations: Assist the entire office staff with data entry, filing, and bill processing to ensure a high-performing work environment.
  • Marketing Coordination: Support marketing efforts by helping schedule photography, 3D tours, and maintaining on-site collateral like flyers and signage.
  • Collaborative Support: Maintain a flexible "growth mindset" to assist accounting and maintenance departments with various clerical tasks as needed.

Qualifications & Requirements

  • Experience: 1+ years of office administrative experience required; property leasing and marketing experience preferred, but not required.
  • Personality: A high-energy "closer" who thrives in a fast-paced sales environment and enjoys people-centric work.
  • Technical Proficiency: Experience with Google Workspace (Drive, Docs, Sheets).
  • Communication: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills with a professional, friendly demeanor.
  • Logistics: Must have a valid Driver’s License and reliable transportation to commute to the NW Wichita office and travel between properties.

Operating Hours & Benefits

  • Hours: Monday – Friday, 8 am – 5 pm (Minimum 40 hours per week).
  • Full Benefits Package: Includes health/dental insurance, 401k with 4% match (after one year), paid holidays, and paid time off (40 hours available after 90 days).

Compensation

  • $18.00 – $20.00 per hour

Benefits

  • Paid holidays – holiday time off with pay to regular full-time employees (effective upon start date)
  • Paid time off of one week (40 hours), available after first 90 days
  • Paid time off of two weeks (80 hours), after two full years of employment
  • 401k with a company match up to 4% with a 5% employee contribution, eligible at 1 open enrollment after one year of service.
  • Company paid life insurance/AD&D/LTD coverage of $50,000

Job Type: Full-time
