This position will be our main source for order entry, material inventory, new part entry processes and a direct assistant to our engineering and executive staff.
Duties
- Manage front desk operations, greeting visitors and customers with professionalism and warmth
- Operate multi-line phone systems, handle incoming calls with courtesy and clear communication
- Perform data entry, filing, and document proofreading to maintain accurate records
- Process new orders from our customers and assist in the process of the order from start to finish
- Utilize Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and Vista for daily tasks and correspondence
- Support office management activities including supply inventory, order entry, material inventory and organization of files; you will also be a first point of contact for our CNC operators and machinists
- Maintain a clean, organized workspace that promotes productivity and professionalism
Experience
- Proven office experience or administrative support background demonstrating strong organizational skills
- Familiarity with clerical tasks such as filing, data entry, proofreading, and document management
- Experience with multi-line phone systems, calendar management, and customer service roles
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook), and basic computer literacy
- Previous roles in order entry, machinist shops, manufacturing, AR/AP are advantageous but not required
- Strong time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks efficiently in a busy environment
Pay: $18.00 – $20.00 per hour
