SteadFast Primary Care is seeking an experienced, professional, and highly organized Medical Receptionist to join our team in Katy, Texas.

This is a key position within our practice and is ideal for someone who takes pride in providing outstanding customer service, enjoys helping patients, and can confidently manage a busy multi-provider Primary Care office.

As the primary point of contact for many of our patients, you will play a critical role in ensuring patients receive prompt, professional service while helping maintain efficient provider schedules and smooth daily operations.

We are looking for a dependable team member who is seeking a long-term opportunity with a growing physician-owned practice and who wants to contribute to the success of both our patients and our organization.

Key Responsibilities

  • Answer and manage a high volume of incoming patient calls professionally and efficiently
  • Schedule, reschedule, and confirm appointments across multiple providers and clinic locations
  • Assist patients with questions regarding appointments, referrals, insurance participation, and office policies
  • Accurately document patient communications within the EMR
  • Monitor voicemail messages and ensure timely follow-up
  • Coordinate patient scheduling to maximize provider productivity and minimize scheduling gaps
  • Assist with patient check-in and front office operations when needed
  • Maintain patient confidentiality and HIPAA compliance at all times
  • Work collaboratively with providers, medical assistants, and office management to ensure excellent patient care

Qualifications

Required

  • Fluent in both English and Spanish
  • Minimum 2 years of recent medical office experience
  • Minimum 2 years of experience handling high-volume inbound phone calls
  • Strong computer and EMR skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Professional appearance and demeanor
  • Reliable attendance and punctuality

Preferred

  • Primary Care or Family Practice experience
  • Knowledge of insurance plans, referrals, and prior authorizations
  • Experience with Tebra an advantage
  • Experience scheduling for multiple providers
