JOB SUMMARY
The Medical Receptionist serves as the first point of contact for visitors and callers, providing exceptional customer service and administrative support. This role ensures smooth front desk operations and assists with various office tasks to maintain an efficient and welcoming environment.
Responsibilities

Greet and assist visitors, patients, and vendors.

Answer and direct incoming calls professionally.

Verify patient information and maintain HIPAA compliance.

Manage mail, packages, and office correspondence.

Perform filing, scanning, data entry, and document preparation.

Support medical records and administrative departments.

Keep the reception area organized and professional.

Monitor office supplies, equipment, and postage.
Qualifications
-
1+ year of experience as a Medical Receptionist, Healthcare Receptionist, or administrative support professional.

Experience in hospice, home health, healthcare, or medical office settings preferred.

Knowledge of medical terminology.

Strong customer service, communication, and multitasking skills.

Proficient computer and telephone skills.
