Exciting opportunity for the right candidate!
Maximum Health Physical Therapy is a growing outpatient physical therapy practice in Long Valley and Budd Lake clinics, and we are seeking a friendly, organized, and motivated Medical Receptionist to join our team. This position offers set shifts throughout the week, including a combination of daytime and evening hours.
As the first point of contact for our patients, you will play a key role in creating a positive experience while helping our clinic run efficiently. We are looking for someone who is personable, dependable, detail-oriented, and comfortable multitasking in a fast-paced healthcare environment.
Responsibilities:
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Answering and directing phone calls
- Greeting and assisting patients upon arrival
- Scheduling patient appointments
- Inputting patient demographics into our electronic medical records system
- Verifying insurance eligibility and benefits
- Making appointment reminder and confirmation calls
- Maintaining accurate patient and insurance records
- Managing communications and assisting with scheduling calendars
- Providing general administrative support to the clinical team
- Assisting therapists with light clinic duties as needed
Qualifications
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities
- Comfortable using computers and learning electronic medical record systems
- Reliable, professional, and compassionate demeanor
- Previous experience as a medical receptionist, medical secretary, or in a healthcare administrative role is preferred, but not required. We are happy to train the right candidate with a positive attitude and strong work ethic.
