Medical Receptionist Jobs in Clearwater at Unity Express Pharmacy
Unity Express Pharmacy is seeking a dependable and customer-focused Pharmacy Support Specialist to join our growing team. This position is primarily responsible for answering incoming calls, making outbound patient calls, and providing administrative and operational support to ensure the pharmacy runs efficiently.
The ideal candidate is friendly, can work in a fast paced environment, organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable speaking with patients over the phone throughout the day.
Primary Responsibilities Patient Communication
- Answer incoming phone calls promptly and professionally
- Make outbound calls to patients regarding prescriptions, refills, deliveries, and pharmacy services
- Transfer calls and relay messages to appropriate team members
- Provide exceptional customer service and maintain patient confidentiality
Administrative Support
- Print patient paperwork, reports, labels, and other pharmacy documents
- Assist with data entry and filing as needed
- Organize and maintain pharmacy records
- Support pharmacy staff with various administrative tasks
Operational Support
- Fold and assemble pharmacy boxes and shipping materials
- Prepare and bag ice packs for prescription shipments
- Assist with packaging and shipping preparation
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of work areas
- Complete additional support tasks as assigned
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Excellent verbal communication skills
- Comfortable making and receiving phone calls throughout the day
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Basic computer skills
- Previous customer service, call center, medical office, or pharmacy experience is preferred but not required

Schedule
- Full-time or Part-time available
- Monday–Saturday
- Additional hours may be available based on business needs
- 1099 contract
