Job Overview
We are currently seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Medical Office Coordinator / Receptionist to join our team. This role requires someone who thrives in a fast-paced healthcare environment and is comfortable working closely with both patients and medical providers. The ideal candidate will possess strong customer service skills, excellent organizational abilities, and experience working within a medical office setting.
Key Responsibilities
- NEED experience with eClinical and eCW
- Provide exceptional customer service to patients both in person and over the phone
- Assist with patient intake, scheduling appointments, and maintaining accurate records
- Work closely with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare staff to ensure smooth office operations
- Utilize E-ClinicalWorks (eCW) or other EMR/EHR systems to update and manage patient information
- Enter patient data accurately into the system and maintain confidentiality of medical records
- Assist patients with paperwork and general office inquiries
- Maintain a professional and welcoming front office environment
- Perform general administrative duties including filing, data entry, and document management
Qualifications
- Strong customer service and communication skills
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced medical environment
- Computer savvy with the ability to learn new systems quickly
- Experience with E-ClinicalWorks (eCW), EMR, or EHR systems is a plus
- Basic knowledge of medical terminology
- Ability to work effectively with both patients and healthcare providers
- Prior medical office or healthcare experience preferred
