Seeking a team member for our front desk at a friendly, outpatient physical therapy practice in both our Macon and Warner Robins locations. Serious applicants only! This is a full-time position that requires you to work Monday through Friday.
Job Duties MAY include:
– Answering phone calls and scheduling patients
– Collection of patient payments
– Communicating with physician’s offices regarding patient progress
– Management of company daily logs
– New patient intake/communication
– Insurance Authorizations and Verifications
– Understand and explain Benefits to new patients
– Data Entry with accuracy
– Help maintain a clean front office and waiting room
Qualifications
- Proven experience in medical administrative support and front desk operations
- Strong computer skills, including proficiency in EHR systems such as WebPT
- Knowledge of medical terminology and CPT coding, training will be provided
- Familiarity with HIPAA regulations and patient service best practices, training will be provided
- Excellent clerical and office experience, with a focus on medical records management, training will be provided
- Ability to handle multi-line phone systems and provide exceptional customer service
