Equity Staffing Group is seeking a Medical Receptionist for a busy outpatient healthcare clinic in Los Angeles, CA. We are looking for a professional, friendly, and organized individual who enjoys interacting with patients and providing exceptional front office support in a fast-paced medical environment.

Responsibilities

• Greet patients with a friendly and professional demeanor
• Check patients in for appointments and verify demographic and insurance information
• Accurately enter and update patient registration information in the electronic medical record
• Make appointment reminder calls and assist with scheduling as needed
• Answer incoming phone calls and direct inquiries appropriately
• Scan and upload patient documents into the electronic medical record
• Perform general clerical duties including filing, data entry, and document management
• Maintain accurate patient records while ensuring HIPAA compliance
• Collaborate with clinical staff to support efficient patient flow
• Deliver outstanding customer service to patients, families, and visitors

Qualifications

• Previous Medical Receptionist or healthcare front office experience preferred
• Healthcare or physician office experience is highly preferred
• Strong computer skills and ability to quickly learn new software
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to multitask and remain organized in a fast-paced environment
• Professional, dependable, and customer-service oriented
• Fast learner with strong attention to detail

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience using Epic EMR
• Bilingual in Spanish
• Previous experience in a busy outpatient clinic or medical practice

Schedule

• Monday – Friday
• 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM PST
